Privacy Policy

This website

rankedcalisthenics.com does not collect personal data. It has no sign-up forms, accounts, cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. The rank test runs entirely in your browser and nothing you type is sent or stored. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses and request logs only to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.

Who is responsible for app data

The provider of the app and its contact details will be named here and on the Legal page before the app launches. Until then, contact support@rankedcalisthenics.com.

Information the app will process

• Account information: Supabase user ID, email address, username, display name, authentication records, account creation time, and your confirmation that you meet the minimum age.
• Athlete profile: country, profile photo, experience level, goals, age range and optional gender.
• Bodyweight (optional, with your consent): your account bodyweight, a private history of bodyweight changes (one entry per day) used for the bodyweight and relative-strength charts, the bodyweight you enter with weighted sets and results, and when you gave or withdrew consent. Bodyweight can count as health information, so we only store it after you agree in the app.
• Training and capability data: workouts, completed sets, repetitions, hold duration, added weight, optional workout notes, personal records, skill progression, assessment answers, ratings, ranks, achievements, and templates.
• Public competition data: username, display name, country, avatar, ratings, ranks, achievements, training streak length, and submitted capability results. A weighted public performance may show added weight, repetitions, and its normalized score; the athlete’s account bodyweight remains private.
• Social data: the athletes you follow and who follow you, follower and following counts, likes, rivals you choose, athletes you block, reports you submit, and activity posts the app creates for personal records, unlocks and rank changes.
• Subscription data: RevenueCat app-user identifier, product, entitlement and subscription state. Apple or Google processes payment details; Ranked Calisthenics does not receive full card information.
• Diagnostics: when Sentry is configured, crash stack traces, app version, operating-system/device information, environment, and a minimal internal user ID. Passwords, tokens, payment details, and private workout notes are not intentionally attached.

The app does not show ads or sell personal data.

Why we use information, and our legal basis

• To provide the app you signed up for (performance of a contract): creating and securing your account, saving workouts and progress, calculating ratings and ranks, running leaderboards, profiles, follows and the activity feed, and providing Ranked Pro.
• With your consent: storing your bodyweight and bodyweight history. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing that happened before.
• Our legitimate interests: keeping the service secure, preventing cheating and abuse, handling reports and blocks, and diagnosing crashes. We balance these interests against your rights and keep the data involved to a minimum.
• Legal obligations: keeping purchase and tax records and answering lawful requests.

Public and private information

Public athlete fields, competition results, activity posts, streak length and follower/following counts can be viewed by other signed-in users. Follow lists and the activity feed show ranked athletes. Email, authentication credentials, age range, gender, bodyweight, workout history, workout notes and your block list remain private.

Reminders

Training, weekly challenge and Rank Test reminders are scheduled on your device only. No push-notification token is sent to our servers.

Service providers

• Supabase provides authentication, database and file storage.
• RevenueCat processes subscription entitlement and purchase-state information associated with the app user ID.
• Apple App Store and Google Play process purchases and subscription billing.
• Sentry receives diagnostic events only when production monitoring is configured.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and processes visitors’ IP addresses and request logs to deliver it securely.

These providers process data on our behalf under their data processing terms and only for the purposes above.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some providers may process data in countries outside the EEA, including the United States. Where they do, transfers rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified providers, or on the Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. The app’s database region will be stated here before launch.

How long we keep data

• Account, profile and training data: while your account is active. Deleting your account from Menu → Settings → Account → Delete Account removes it.
• Bodyweight and bodyweight history: until you withdraw consent in Settings or delete your account.
• Reports: while they are reviewed and for up to 12 months afterwards to deal with repeated abuse.
• Diagnostics: according to Sentry’s retention settings, at most 90 days.
• Purchase records: Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep these under their own policies and as tax law requires.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

• access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
• correct inaccurate data (most profile fields can be edited in the app);
• delete your data (you can delete your account yourself in the app);
• receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format;
• restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interests;
• withdraw consent at any time, for example by turning off bodyweight storage in Settings.

Email support@rankedcalisthenics.com to use these rights. We answer within one month. You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Romania this is the Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), dataprotection.ro; you can also contact the authority where you live or work.

Security

Ranked Calisthenics uses authenticated requests, row-level database security, encrypted network transport and restricted server credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Minimum age

You must be at least 16 years old to use Ranked Calisthenics. The app is not designed for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated when features or data practices change. The effective date will be updated when a revised policy is published.
